Pharmacogenomic testing is vital for anyone taking any kind of medication. It has restored confidence and hope to patients and their loved ones, and has provided medical results and peace of mind to those in a number of therapeutic areas, including mental and behavioral health, cardiovascular health, pain management, cancer, immunology, and more.

One Simple Test. Good for Life.

Your DNA doesn’t change; neither will your test results. Your test results will give you all the answers you need to develop a personalized prescription plan.

Our test is as simple as it is powerful. It’s conducted in a medical environment, and is safe, fast, and completely non-invasive. (It’s just a saliva collection.) The results are clinically accurate and medically actionable, which means that you and your doctor can start making real changes, right away.

Here is what will happen after you join My Prescription Plan…

STEP ONE

Join & order your kit.

What’s in the kit?

The kit includes all the materials and information you and your doctor will need to complete the test. This includes an easy-to-follow set of instructions, a container for collection, and a unique activation code.

More than just a test.

My Prescription Plan is more than just a kit–it’s a community. Once you order, you’ll have access to our support team, involvement in a community of people interested in pharmacogenomics, and follow-up resources to ensure you get the most out of your test.

STEP TWO

Take the Test.

What to expect during your visit.

During your visit, your doctor will help you fill out a short, informational form. Your doctor will then collect a little saliva. We’ll take care of the rest. (It really is that easy.)

All the while, our team will be available to you and your doctor to answer any questions you might have.

Why a doctor?

We take medical privacy and safety very, very seriously. By requiring that you work with your doctor to complete the test, we can ensure that your information is kept secure. It also gives an added confidence that the test was performed correctly and that the results are accurate.

By keeping your healthcare providers involved, we can offer test results that are medically actionable, which means you can make changes faster and find real results.

Finally, working with your doctor guarantees meaningful conversation. Your doctor knows more about your health than anyone else, and we want to make sure that when you’re using My Prescription Plan, you’re getting expert advice, not just a spreadsheet.

STEP THREE

Review Your Results.

Understanding Your Report.

Once the results have been collected and checked for accuracy, we send an easy-to-read, clinically-valid report back to you and your doctor.

You and your doctor can use this report to map an exact, personal course of action. If you’re not satisfied with the conversation, or if you need further help interpreting your results, we have physicians that can offer additional counsel.

Types of Results.

Your report will let you know which medications will be a good fit for your DNA. We’ll also offer dosing suggestions to reflect how quickly your body metabolizes certain drugs. And we’ll identify which drugs you should approach with caution, and which you need to avoid.

In addition, we’ll help you and your doctor predict four types of drug interactions to let you know how potential medication might interact with other drugs, food, alcohol, and lab tests. This lets you know if any lifestyle changes are appropriate while taking certain medication.

Ready to take the first step?

When you purchase the My Prescription Plan kit, you’re buying more than just another DNA test.  You become a member, and we’re here to help you every step of the way.

What Medications Does My Prescription Plan Screen?

The PGxOne test looks at approx. 300 variants across 50 different genes.

How does DNA affect your medication?

No two people will respond to a medication in the exact same way.
